PROTEINDEX™ NHS-Activated Agarose 4 Fast Flow is a pre-activated agarose matrix that provides a versatile coupling chemistry for immobilizing amino-containing proteins and peptides.
The pre-activated functional N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) group forms a chemically stable amide bone with the ligand that contains a primary amino group. therefore NHS-Activated Agarose 4 Fast Flow can be used to prepare customized affinity purification resin for isolating specific substances from complex mixtures, often achieving very high purity in a single step.
The base matrix of the resin is highly cross-linked 4% agarose, and is ready for application on the automated system, spinning on the centrifuge, and operation under the vacuum.
