Description
GraviPur™ Desalting Columns are prepacked with PROTEINDEX™ SEC G-25 Cross-linked Dextran Resin, a molecular-weight–based selection resin designed for rapid and efficient removal of small molecules. With an effective cutoff of approximately Mr 5,000, these columns enable biomolecules larger than the exclusion limit—such as proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, and other macromolecules—to be cleanly separated from salts, detergents, and other low–molecular-weight contaminants.
The column body is made of bio-compatible polypropylene (PP), and the frits are hydrophilic, enabling fast flow through driven by gravity. The integrated Luer-lock outlet provides secure, direct connection to female Luer ports on standard vacuum manifolds. A stopcock was provided with each column for better flow control during operation.
With high sample-loading capacity and ready-to-use design, GraviPur™ Desalting Columns deliver a cost-effective, reliable, and easy-to-integrate solution for buffer exchange, desalting, and sample cleanup, ideal for routine laboratory applications or seamless incorporation into existing purification systems.
